Between the two drone visits the extension's walls were cast and the slab closed over them, while fit-out carried on in the house above.

Project VLA is a private villa within the Akasha development at Tamarin, on the west coast. The house is being completed while a new lower-level extension is built into the slope beside it, so finishing work and structural work share one site at the same time.
VIDA manages the project for the owners from tender through construction to handover, coordinating Studio Linear Architects, the structural engineer and the contractor so that the fit-out inside the house and the extension below it progress without getting in each other's way.
The extension's walls have been cast and its slab is now closed. Above it, the villa is in its fit-out and completion stage.
